It's a nightmare scenario for Republicans, but conservative billionaire Charles Koch says "it's possible" Hillary Clinton could make a better president than the remaining candidates in the GOP primary.
Koch, one of the most influential and controversial forces in Republican politics, said in an exclusive interview with ABC News to air Sunday on "This Week" that he believed Bill Clinton was a better president "in some ways" than George W. Bush.
"In other ways, I mean (Clinton) wasn't an exemplar. But as far as the growth of government, the increase in spending," Koch said. "It was 2.5 times [more] under Bush than it was under Clinton."

In his interview, Koch said that is a result of his disgust with the rhetoric in the Republican primary, and he even suggested Clinton could be a better choice for the country than the remaining crop of GOP candidates.

People have commented on his driving will, which has been focused and at work for decades on taking over our nation and dismantling all or almost all federal government programs. But he's been outed, to the new alarm of millions, and now is working very hard to portray himself as really just a nice, very misunderstood wolf.

(52,175 posts)and in NC many voters said that about McCrory, the people to whom Trump would owe his Presidency most surely do, just like those to whom McCrory owes his governorship care. McCrory signed a bill that greatly restricted abortion after directly promising he wouldn't do so in the campaign. If you think Trump won't name a Scalia clone to SCOTUS you are frankly very naive.

(17,064 posts)Koch Bros funded the DLC. Hillary is as tight with them as with Henry Kissinger and Robt Kagan. It's amazing people are still fooled by that (D) after her name....the Koch Bros aren't.

(17,064 posts)You shouldn't be...they funded the DLC. Hillary is tied to them like she is Kissinger and Kagan. She'll do much better pushing Republican principles than W did.

Little wonder they would like Hillary too, and expect as much as they got from Bill.
