Miami man accused of threatening to shoot Obama out on bail

Joaquin Serrapio, 20, was charged with threats against the president and successors to the presidency after he posted messages on Facebook threatening the president’s life.
“Who wants to help me assassinate Obummer while he’s at UM this week?” read a Feb. 21 post Serrapio wrote under the alias Jay Valor.
Obama spoke on Feb. 23 at the University of Miami’s BankUnited Center in Coral Gables. After his speech, the president attended a fundraising reception at the Biltmore Hotel and another at a Pinecrest home.
That same day, Serrapio posted another threat. “If anyones going to UM to see obama today, get ur phones out and record. Cause at any moment im gonna put a bullet through his head and u don’t wanna miss that! Youtube!”
After receiving a tip from the Coral Gables Police Department, Secret Service agents went to Serrapio’s house where he was living with his mother and found an iPad with Facebook open to one of the threatening posts and two pellet guns.
According to federal agents, Serrapio admitted to the threats. He also allowed the Secret Service to search his phone, where they found more threats. In them, he challenged the administration and said he hoped to kill at least two Secret Service agents if they went searching for him.

I have noticed over the years when something strange happens in the title I immediately ask...

Florida or Texas? I am generally right with my two choices.

Bail is usually to prevent a flight risk not a fight risk. I never really understood that.

However my cousin from Chicago got a look inside one of the escort SUVs for our President. She was astonished at the weaponry inside.

"If they came at our President with a tank... they would have a difficult fight."

Go ahead try it and become instant hamburger

whether or not to grant bail are 1) danger of flight and 2) danger to self or others. I don't see how he got past the second prong with the judge.
