In 2012 they will run on this as the Democrats cutting cutting MediCare for old people, and MedicAid for poor people. They will run on it just as they did in 2010, when 500 million <sic> dollars was removed from, essentially, the part of Medicare that provided MediCare Advantage, which provided a huge boon to the private health industry, and was replaced by ObamaCare, as it were. And this is just an example of that. This is one of those ads that ran back in 2010:

Announcer: Should Congress have cut MediCare half a trillion dollars to pay for Obamacare? Rene Elmers says no. She says cutting MediCare hurts senior citizens. Bob Ethridge voted 'yes'. He voted with President Obama to cut MediCare half a trillion dollars! As long as Obama's in the White House, we can't let a Democrat represent us in Congress!

They ran against the Democrats for cutting MediCare. And even if they do it this time, they will run that way again.

I'm catching up, slowly but surely, with my podcasts. Interestingly, Romney announced Ryan as his running mate just about the time I moved into January 2011... when the Teabag-infused Congress took over and Ryan become a Big Cheese. So I'm listening to Ryan's budget proposal being ripped apart by Rachel Maddow, Cenk Ungyr, and Sam Sedar... long before the Iowa caucuses. MediCare vouchers included.

So if anybody tells you that the Democrats are just playing politics when they say Ryan's plan will destroy MediCare, you tell them that liberals have been screaming this since Ryan took control of the budget committee 20 months ago!!!

It's not the fault of the educated if the ignorant won't LISTEN.

Looks like near-history ALSO repeats itself!!!
