(8,771 posts)These are his Senate financial disclosure forms that list all income and investments for him and his wife for the last 20 years. What more are you trolling for?

(95,187 posts)You found his CAMPAIGN filings with the FEC....which amazingly enough, can be found at the FEC website.
You DID NOT find his PERSONAL filings...which amazingly enough, CANNOT be found at the IRS website. He has to release them.
And if his personal filings WERE available, why did he need to come up with an excuse like "we've been busy".
Surprisingly enough Sanders doesn't have a team of lawyers and tax accounts .. Maybe Hillary can give him the name of a good one? Or lend him 10 or 20 of hers for a week or so?
If the Clintons have experience in one thing, it's getting the right people on the right books to present the "right truth".
I'll cut Bernie some slack for not being on top of the Presidential campaign bureaucracy like Clinton's.

(95,187 posts)All he needs is the tax forms he filed for the last five years, and a Jr. staffer to drive down to Kinko's.

(8,771 posts)These are his Senate and House financial disclosures as he is a sitting U.S. Senator. They are far more detailed than his tax returns as they are all income sources and investments for him and his wife. Isn't that what your concern trolling about? That he somehow has some secret source of money or a secret account? Everything is there.

(8,771 posts)All your "concerns" will be answered. There is 16+ years of House and Senate financial disclosure fillings that are more detailed than tax returns as they show all sources of income, accounts and investments with all assets and liabilities. What more could you be concern trolling about about?

(8,352 posts)Go look at them. The IRS does not currently have an active investigation open on the Sanders family or campaign.
Now the FBI does on Clinton, so maybe you are 1) being disingenuous, 2) attempt to deflect from your own candidate's failings, 3) are trying to rat-fuck him because your candidate is a corrupt narcissist?
It's another non-issue presented by an increasingly desperate Team Hill
You guys should ask for some time off, and take your boss with you. You guys could de-stress and maybe come back with some positive points to post. If nothing else, the water's fine down there.

(10,622 posts)No, not like she does the total is a whopping $3,200 and all from progressive causes and individuals, unlike her and NOT CORPORATE large scale bundles and dark money to PACs in the millions of dollars like her.
Added Mike Casca, Sanderss rapid-response director: "Bernies campaign is fueled by individual contributions averaging under $30not lobbyists bundling six figures at private events."
A Clinton campaign spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
To be sure, lobbyist donationsabout $3,200 overallrepresent a tiny fraction of the more than $96 million Sanders has raised for his underdog presidential bid. About 70 percent of that sum comes from small-dollar donors who have given Sanders $200 or less.
Sanderss antibig money, antispecial interest mantra has resonated with many voters, who have lifted him to victory against Clinton in several primary and caucus contests.
The lobbyist cash the Sanders campaign has collected has come from traditionally left-leaning causes: labor unions, environmentalists, the American Civil Liberties Union.
For instance, John M. Walsh, a lobbyist for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, contributed $500 to Sanders last year.
Other labor lobbyists giving Sanders money include Ian Hoffmann, a lobbyist for the American Federation of Government Employees, who contributed $235, and Michael Dolan, a lobbyist for the Teamsters, who gave $100.
Each lobbyist declined to comment.
Lobbyist Michael Correia of the National Cannabis Industry Association also donated $500 to Sanders last year. Thats tied for the largest amount among Sanderss lobbyist contributors to date.
Correia, who also gave $500 to Republican Rand Paul, told the Center for Public Integrity he contributed to both presidential campaigns because it was an opportunity to reward somebody for being a leader on cannabis policy.
In November, Sanders introduced a bill to decriminalize marijuana.
I can understand when he uses the rhetoric about lobbyists or the power of corporationsI get that, Correia continued, adding that lobbying the government is a constitutionally protected right. I can proudly say that Im a lobbyist. Im doing something that I think is right and on the right side of history.
That sentiment was reiterated by other lobbyists contacted by the Center for Public Integrity.
One Sanders-supporting lobbyist who refused to be quoted by name said, Im a good lobbyist, and insisted that not all lobbyists are unethical.
Most lobbyists whove contributed to Sanderss campaign simply didnt want to discuss their donations.
Unfortunately, I cant discuss my personal political affiliations on the record, said Ian Thompson, a lobbyist at the American Civil Liberties Union who has given $170 to Sanders.
I respectfully decline comment, echoed Robert Henson, a lobbyist at Credit Union National Association who has donated $100 to Sanders.
Likewise, Amanda Aspatore, a lobbyist at the National Mining Association who has given Sanders $250, declined to discuss her contribution. Im not going to comment on that, she said.

They like to leave out the important stuff and act like kids that say, "but my sister eats cookies too!" after getting caught sealing hundreds of boxes of girl scout cookies from the garage, it is not the same when the sister got "caught" eating a cookie put in her lunchbox by mom, but they gotta' justify the bad action somehow.

(8,771 posts)He just hasn't yet. It's not a race.
You didn't answer my question though, so I'll ask again:

Lucinda
(31,170 posts)And I don't presume to know what is in his taxes. We'll see what there is to see if and when he releases them.
Your guy shouldn't have any problems with the info coming out, right? So what is the big deal?
angrychair
(8,771 posts)You are.
"He should have done it already"? Since there is no legal requirement, much less a deadline, that statement is false.
Since you didn't answer, I will ask again:

(57,349 posts)From Money Nation, the article has a full breakdown of the net worth of one of the poorest senators in Washington:
According to Center for Responsive Politics and Money Nation data:
Bernie Sanders Net Worth August 2015: $528,014
Bernie Sanders Net Worth May 2015: $440,511
Bernie Sanders Net Worth 2014: $330,408
Bernie Sanders Net Worth 2013: $330,506
Bernie Sanders Net Worth 2012: $460,506
Net Worth 2011: $308,005
Net Worth 2010: $429,004
Net Worth 2009: $105,003
Net Worth 2008: $219,504
Net Worth 2007: $345,503
Net Worth 2006: $188,504
Net Worth 2005: $128,001
Net Worth 2004: $115,501
Bernie Sanders net worth has fluctuated over time, from $115,501 in 2004 to $345,503 in 2007. The 2008 financial crisis may have caused a drop of 36% of Sanders net worth in that year. Sanders net worth sunk as low as $105,003 in 2009 and has gone as high as $460,506 in 2012.
Our figures above show a rise of $87,503 in Bernie Sanders net worth between May and August of 2015. However, only part of that rise comes from an actual change in Bernie Sanders net worth. Most of the change comes from amendments to disclosure forms. In other words, Sanders didnt suddenly make an extra $87,000.
