By Patrick Springer / Forum News Service Today at 7:13 a.m.

Rep. Collin Peterson, D-Minn., said he would vote for Bernie Sanders if he attends the Democratic National Convention as a superdelegate.

Sanders was the favorite in Peterson's 7th District during the Minnesota Democratic caucuses on Tuesday, March 1.

"I'm voting my district," Peterson said. "I'm going to vote for Bernie."

Peterson would only get to cast his vote if he attends the national convention July 25-28 in Philadelphia. Although he rarely attends his party's national convention, he said he might this year. As a House member, he automatically becomes a superdelegate.

"If my vote makes a difference, I'll probably go," he said in a recent meeting with The Forum Editorial Board.

changing their votes should the district they represent have voted for Hillary? Or just when it's for your candidate? Just asking a simple question, not asking for an argument.

then they wouldn't be different from regular delegates. They're "SUPER" because they (supposedly) have a will of their own as to WHO they give their vote to.

Jake Fritz Vote all of these fools out of office-- Superdelegates you are traitors List of Traitors in Minnesota: Mark Dayton, Al Franken, Marge Hoffa, Amy Klobuchar, Ken Martin, Betty McCollum, Walter Mondale, Collin Peterson, Nancy Schumacher, Lori Sellner, Rick Stafford, Tim Walz --- All these people are complete traitors. Even though Senator Bernie Sanders won the caucus in MN these traitors are still pledging their support for that scumbag $$Hillary. People of Minnesota spread the word and most importantly vote them out of office! (VERY IMPORTANT SIDE NOTE: Keith Ellison is the only superdelegate from Minnesota that is doing the right thing and supporting Bernie Sanders--- thank you Keith Ellison)

My comment. If Bernie over takes Hillary in the popular vote, pledged Hillary superdelegates many of which did this last year will "have some splaining to do Lucy"!
