Please tell me Tammy Duckworth is going to win against Joe Walsh!

Anyone catch his latest statement:

http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2012/10/19/rep-joe-walsh-no-abortion-exceptions-because-pregnant-women-dont-die/
“This is an exception that opponents of life through out there to make us look unreasonable,” Walsh explained. “There’s no such exception as life of the mother. And as far as health of the mother, same thing. With advances in science and technology — health of the mother has become a tool for abortion for any time under any reason.”

I just know that the last time I looked for pols on that race it was a little more work than I had time for. I noticed earlier people from Virginia were giving updates on early voting polling lines. So I figured someone local would chime in with pertinent info.

And, it worked.

And thought it would be topical.

My bad, apparently I did not research this forum enough before commenting. I did not realize it was a scholarly pursuit of actualization. I thought it was a place where sane people could vent.

Color me chagrined, Carry on...

The democrats in Illinois gerrymandered this district to get Walsh out, so he is basically running as one of the most insanely right wing republicans in the country, in a slightly left of center district.

But just for the record, I voted for Melissa Bean. He only won by 250 votes. Since then, redistricting has put more Democrats in his newly redrawn 8th dist. Now I'm in the 10th district so, I have Robert Dold to deal with. This Joe Walsh dude is toast I guarantee it.

I am glad to see that this board represents so many different voters from the different areas across the country. My area is mostly blue... but I do realize that the whole race is affected by its many parts.

he`s in a new district that has a lot more democrats. his child support problem has cost him a lot of female voters. i`d say he`s going to be looking for a real job after november.
