Looky looky what my Aunt said on Facebook.. I am offended..

I have noticed many people have placed an incredible amount of importance, feeling and passion for a political party which I feel has become their "god". In these cases the political party has replaced what their passion, feeling and importance should be for God and their faith in Him. For people who say they believe in God and yet say they are voting for a party or person who almost always goes against God's rules in every major decision is a good indicator what REALLY IS more important to that person. God or "the party." So many people are happily brainwashed because their politics have taken the place for their God. What or Who DO YOU HAVE MORE PASSION FOR? In this note I'm not AT ALL saying EITHER PARTY is working for God! But when I vote...I will be looking for the PERSON who says they will be standing by Christian biblical truths rather than any party or person who Openly abandons them and adamantly denies our country's Christian heritage....

A) Where is her proof of these "truths"?

B) Can she tell you how many tenets of her faith Mitt Romney has violated during his tenure at Bain Capital and mendacious political campaigns?

C) If her answer is "no", then why does she insist on pretending to be a Christian?

She should also be asked for proof that he doesn't, in deed, actually worship money (and the power of it), or, as the Bible calls it, MAMMON...

"No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon." - Matthew 6:24

So many people are happily brainwashed by whatever ReThug Preacher GOD they go worship on Sunday that they would vote against healthcare for the elderly, food in the mouths of children, keeping jobs at home, preserving the environment that keeps us alive, and basic compassion simply because they told them that it was "God's will" that they vote with hatred toward Gay people and to try to subvert women's reproductive rights.

In fact, brainwashed IS the Republican Party.

Curious how she'll reply when you point that out.

Romney has to follow the direction of the prophet... and here's a good article to point her to on what that means:

Are Mormons told to follow their "prophets" no matter what? Yes.

She is referring to, because it could be argued that the old testament God is entirely different than the new testament God. And since Jesus, aka Christ, was the impetuous for the new testament then if she refers to the Old testament God... He isn't the Christian God at all. Why?

"But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you shut off the kingdom of heaven from men; for you do not enter yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in." (Matthew 23:13). By prescribing their own doctrines, traditions and creeds, the Pharisees were actually hindering others from the true message, love one another, forgive, cast not a stone when you too are a sinner. They had formulated their own standards of right and wrong.

Much like today, where we are witnessing a casting off of New Testament moral, ethical and doctrinal standards in favor of what fits their political agenda. They often cling to obscure verses in the Old Testament and completely over look or ignore the message that Christ brought with the New Testament. The true Chritian faith is based on the New Message.

Regardless, no one in a free democratic society should be able to impose their religious beliefs on to others or make those beliefs laws that infringe on the rights of others.

Ask her about the 9th commandment.

Then give her a list of Mitt's lies.

She could start with reading these two articles:

http://thinkprogress.org/politics/2012/10/04/958801/at-last-nights-debate-romney-told-27-myths-in-38-minutes/

http://thinkprogress.org/politics/2012/10/17/1030581/at-last-nights-debate-romney-told-31-myths-in-41-minutes/

Throw in a few of the verses below and then suggest she might want to back off her self-righteous high horse.

Luke 6:37 "Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

Luke 6:41 "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?

John 8 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her."

Romans 2:1 You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.

Romans 14:10 You, then, why do you judge your brother? Or why do you look down on your brother? For we will all stand before God's judgment seat.

Please ask your Aunt to promise she'll go by the tenets of "Biblical Christianity" when she votes. Oh, and ask her if the angel Moroni appears anywhere in Mark, Matthew, Luke, John, all the epistles, and the Book of Revelations. That should cover the New Testament.

What? No Moroni anywhere? There you go.

unlike romney, Obama follows the Word that Jesus taught.. to help feed and clothe the poor,
to take people in when they are homeless, to help the downtrodden lift themselves up.

Cultist, Mitt Romney is still trying to fit that camel through the eye of a needle and seems
to believe that he who dies with the most money has a special place in heaven.

Also, I hope your aunt knows, that Mitt Romney does not believe your aunt will be allowed
to live with her family in heaven, because only mormons can do that. This is what Mitt
taught as a missionary and it's how he lives his life. Only mormons are allowed to live with
their families in heaven, so your aunt is out of luck, unless she converts to Mitt's cult.

Oh and Yes, I like another suggestion: have your Aunty check out the "Nuns on a Bus". I'd say they are definitely for people over profit.

Mormons and Catholics are two of the most hated and discriminated religious groups in the country. Catholics were forbidden to live in states like Georgia and even Maryland after the protestants became the majority.

The US Army had a couple of nasty shootouts with the mormons.

So if she respects our christian heritage, better vote for the only real Christian (real, according to the religious tradition of this country) and that candidate is Barack Obama.

Maybe she should read her Bible more, and listen to some dope preacher less. Passages about the rich vs. the poor are everywhere, and very clear. For instance, Matthew 25:34 - 46.

Rethuglicans are the pharisees of our time.
