What is the explanation for Rick Santorum's obsession with reproduction and sexuality?

Seriously, I don't get it. He only seems to get excited about reproductive and sexuality issues - abortion, contraception, marriage, GBLT issues. Why the one-trick pony on this?

can take a critical look at their church.
And decide for themselves.
Frothy is an indoctrinated, ignorant, unthinking, brainwashed wingnut.
And thinks everyone should be like him.

When the pope :-
tries to suppress child sex abuse stories and does not punish the transgressors
spreads aids throughout Africa by advocating the banning of condoms
promulgates poverty in the Phillipines thru banning contraception
and a host of other stories

These are not the actions of a moral institution.

He looooves adultery and divorce.

Shows you how desperate the Catholic church is for converts - if they accept him.

Anything else is too abstract, or too advanced to comprehend for them, so other ideas float back down along the spinal column and become a shiver or even a toe twitch.

have lead to the breakdown of society.

If women return to their proper roles as wives and mothers, then our society will flourish.

It wasn't that great I can tell you. Particularly if you were black, poor, or a woman who wanted to do something other than stay home and have babies. And in the latter case, if you stayed home and had babies and then took a job outside the home to make ends meet after the kids were all in school.

According to fundie-logic, parenting failures in the 50's led to the social unrest of the 60's.

One train of thought says that the breakdown of society has been happening for a hundred years.

No room for grandpa and grandma to help keep the kids on the straight and narrow, not to mention TV and worse yet, eating dinner in front of the TV - which led to TV dinners and pretty soon you have teenagers getting knocked up in the backseats of Chevys at the Drive-In and everything goes to Hell in a handbasket. And don't even get me started on rock music, which was clearly a communistic conspiracy to undermine 'Merica's youth, Elvis's gyrating hips, and the Beatles' long hair.

They are all nuts. If you're an environmentalist you are a pagan earth worshiper, etc. They live in a bubble and only talk to each other.

Eikipedia link
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opus_Dei
Snip:
Controversies about Opus Dei have centered around criticisms of its alleged secretiveness,[17] its recruiting methods, the alleged strict rules governing members, the practice by celibate members of mortification of the flesh,[18] its alleged elitism and misogyny, the alleged right-leaning politics of most of its members, and the alleged participation by some in authoritarian or extreme right-wing governments, especially the Francoist Government of Spain until 1978.[19] Within the Catholic Church, Opus Dei is also criticized for allegedly seeking independence and more influence.[20]

THE RNC WILLS IT.

After the debate tomorrow Romney and Santorum will probably have angry hate sex.

Newt will stand outside the window crying while Ron Paul digs for gold.
