http://2012.talkingpointsmemo.com/2012/02/santorum-goes-biblical-with-climate-change-denial.php?ref=fpaWhy doesn't any news person ask any of these fundy right wing climate change denying clowns about core earth samples, carbon dating, historical records - anything that proves that their "earth is only a few thousand years old/man walked with dinos" is just a pile of flat earth horseshit? Make them speak to their lunacy - make them expose the cognitive dissonance of their "beliefs" with reality.
perhaps what is even more scary - does a significant percentage of the population of the US actually go along with the "earth is only a few thousand years old" crap? Oh my.....

Seriously, I'd almost prefer that we save the good stuff with Santorum until/if he wins the nomination. I really want to see this clown explain his thinking in deep detail, assuming he's the guy that gets the nod.

And that's while they were still nekkid!!!

does a significant percentage of the population of the US actually go along with the "earth is only a few thousand years old" crap?
Not all creationists believe that. "Young earth creationists" are a minority, or at least used to be. The rest believe that the universe in general and the earth in particular are old, but that human were created more recently after the natural world was established.
In fact, if Santorum followed his own church, he would believe in evolution. Half the Christian world is Roman Catholic, and the church officially accepts evolution and the scientifically accepted history of the universe.
