If the psychopath wins this election?

is there any possible way that another Democrat could ever be elected in this country? What stuns me is knowing how respectful liberals tend to be towards conservative scum. They have by large undermined the economic and social stability of this country yet they are still regarded as a viable option.
Conservatives have achieved their goal of intimidating the media into favoring their agenda by making absurd claims of 'liberal bias' and 'skewed views.' By doing so they also led to the so called 'resurgence' and like any capitalist would know, the short term gains outweigh long term stability. Conservative ideology is not rational, it is the most inhuman and hate filled nonsense ever devised by humanity. Why are their views held to such high esteem in our modern age? If they win, what does it mean for the future of progressives? Will the electorate shift further right into the abyss?

1. If the psychopaths win

and we wind up with at least seven psychopaths on the US Supreme Court we may not even have a country to worry about, as some of the basic legislation that has made this country what it is will be rolled back. If the deregulation of the financial industry proceeds we may end up with a wore collapse than we had under Bush. If the love of saber rattling leads to more war, we may run into an enemy with nuclear weapons that doesn't back down, like China or Russia. The middle class will continue to shrink as unions breathe their last and more manufacturing heads overseas and the income gap becomes 'third world' in its extremes.

First of all, 2016 is over - if they can turn around a huge 2008 defeat after Bush in less than four years, no Democrat is convincing the country that quickly. Not happening, unless they seek to woo Koch / Adelson & co.

The Democratic Party will HAVE to turn hard right if the GOP win this year, how far? Depends on how badly they want to be competitive before 2024.

And one that I might not want to be a part of for much longer.

The though of Ginsburg getting replaced with a 45yo Scalia is almost too much to bear.

LGBT progress? Forget it. Over. Probably some legislation to reinstate a ban on military service. Probably challenges to Lawrence and probably they will be rubberstamped by a Scalia Court. LGBT Marriage? Please. We'll be fighting not to see relationships criminalized under new "sodomy" laws across half this nation. Think it can't happen? You're fucking wrong.

Civil rights act? Probably watered down to nothing. Red lining again. Affirmative action programs of any kind finsihed.

Complete destruction of social safety net to pre-1929 levels. "Let the churches take care of it." Other than that, grow the prison industry. Public schools? Privatized and voucherized. Over. If you start poor you stay poor, period. Student loans? Forget it. GI Bill? Finished.

Medicare? Gone. Voucherized. Social Security? Over. Defunded. Nobody under 40 on this day will have any guaranteed retirement. Finished. Health care? It is to laugh.

That's what will happen. You won't need to worry about elections or the fucking precious polls.

If you wonder why some of us don't look kindly on people who turn this thing into a "Poll Junky Parlor Game," that's fucking why. Ooooo, how's the seven day rolling? Did Friday fall off? FUCK YOU. Get on the goddamn phone.

Our way of life, the American way of life as we know it, will be over. Sorry if I'm being gloom and doom, but that's the reality of it. Romney will do the bidding of his investors and dismantle this country, just like he dismanted companies for his investors. It's the Bain formula on a much larger scale.

Do you think the economy could stand another round of tax cuts and repuke destruction? If Rmoney steals it, that should be the END of the repuke party.

America as we know it will cease to exist, especially if he gets to pack the court with right-wingers. He's going to get all the credit for the Obama recovery if he is elected and this will somehow make the foolish conservative policies look good to uninformed Americans. If Romney wins, this country will be fully fascist in 20 years.
