And Christie knows it. That is why he came out and basically said, "Are you going to believe me or your lying ears?" The reason I think this will happen is that it plays into Romney's well known penchant for having it both ways - particularly on this issue. He will lose people not just concerned about this issue on both sides (pro-choice and anti-abortion) but also people for whom this is not a big issue but who were leery of his flip flopping record. People will be more convinced than ever that Mitt will say anything to get elected. This is a major character issue and a big contrast with Obama.
