Carmona: Handpicked by .... Brewer?

In a recent article for Politico, U.S. Senate Candidate, former Surgeon General,
SWAT team officer, military veteran and all-around all-American overachiever
Richard Carmona told reporter Scott Wong that in 2005, then Arizona Secretary of
State Jan Brewer stopped by his office in Washington and “personally urged him to
run as a Republican against (Janet) Napolitano, the incumbent Democratic governor.”

Hmmmm.

The anti-Carmona ads now running in Arizona, which Republicans are said to have spent
something close to $600,000 to produce and air, derisively says that Carmona was "handpicked by Obama."

As if that’s a bad thing.

3. Bill Clinton will be in AZ with Carmona tomorrow night

Bill Clinton is the only Democrat to win AZ in modern history.

Hopefully this will give Carmona the boost with Independents he needs.
