No matter how I try

I can't see how Obama could have won the debate yesterday.

What I mean is that if the concept of a debate is to declare your position and then defend it against an opponent, then Mitt didn't declare a position that could be discussed.

Obama could have been stronger, yes he could have. But, it's as if they weren't speaking the same language.

Moderator - Mr Romney, can you discuss your tax plan?
Mitt - Pancakes!!
Obama - How do I refute that?!?

How do you debate a person who isn't making sense, but looks good doing it?

There was a moment where I almost thought Mitt intimated that We need regulation of finance, and we will do that by removing any regulation of the financial industry?

House of Mirrors stuff.

NO SHOW last night. Regardless of the reason, the mountain air (seriously?????), he was tired, he was bored, he didn't want to be there blah blah blah the bottom line is he sucked.

Yes, Romney's non-stop lies are being exposed today which is a good thing. I will vote for Obama no matter what but I do expect him to come out armed (with rebuttals to all of Romney's lies) and ready to fight on Oct. 16. If he does not, then he simply doesn't want it.

I agree.
But here's where I'm having the problem.

You practice and study all week for a math exam. Get up in the morning, go to the math teachers classroom and he hands you a history exam.

How do you prep for it?

were being spewed and still have made the points Obama wanted to make. Best to ignore and work on one's own points and let the other one drown themselves in words.
Obama got plenty of ammunition to use in the campaign and Romney is being hammered about the lies.
