Why are right wingers so quick to unfriend liberals on Facebook?

My brother got unfriended today because he posted an opinion on the worst presidents ever. Number one on his list was Bush Jr. One of his now ex-friends called him a moron and unfriended him. Right wingers love to post their crap on Facebook, but freak out when someone disagrees with it. Liberals tend to be more tolerant of differing opinions though.

Your brother should consider it a badge of honor.

Nice way to cull the Christmas card list, at any rate.

They're generally not interested in having any sort of debate or discussion on the subject. They're right, you're wrong, end of story and if you keep talking they're just going to ignore / scream over / attack you.

Though I will use the hide and unsubscribe functions first. Back in August I identified about 15 potential sources of annoyance and promptly hid all of them. Problem solved.

When you live in an artificial reality bubble, anything outside it becomes painful to confront.

The problem is that reality itself has a liberal bias, so as reality continues to intrude into that little bubble, the pain is going to become unbearable. Some will wake up, some will crack up, and some will go postal.

They're just trying to reduce the pain any way they can.
