Independents Abandoning Romney

Independents Abandoning Romney

Greg Sargent flags a striking finding in the new Pew Research poll:

In November, Mitt Romney was beating President Obama among independent voters, 53% to 41%. Now those numbers are upside down: Obama tops Romney among them, 51% to 42%. That's a net 19 point swing of independents in Obama's direction in three months.

I assume the ones who want to go back to the 13th Century might like him a lot.

and tearing down your opponents with negative ads. Almost 100% of his ads in Florida were negative. Rmoney has shown no hesitation to use these tactics funded by millions of dollars in Wall Street money. He also stashes his money away in foreign bank accounts to avoid paying taxes.

Independents see this and they begin fleeing. Rmoney is now a broken and tainted candidate.

As long as things continue to improve, the independents will tend to be on board. They are the most "pocket book" voting bunch of them all.

The news seems to be getter better for Obama all the time, at least at the moment. Hope we can keep things up until November.
