Do American's really want corporations to run this country?

Less than half of Americans are willing to vote for romney on the promise of running the nation as a business. Are these people unaware of the idiotic idea of having a corporate president? After decades of witnessing how big businesses have negatively influenced this government to the point of disregarding the wellbeing of its people they would willingly hand the true parasites in the system complete control.

We've heard "government is evil" and "we need less government" for decades now. Yet, government is "of, for, and by the people." In other words, government is us. If we don't like what we are doing, then we vote ourselves out of office and vote another of us in. We do this every 2, 4, and 6 years.

But, if we turn government over to the corporations, then we have a government "of, for, and by the CEO and Board of Directors." Try "voting" them out of office if you don't like the way their running "government."

I don't understand it myself...

The wealthy would like to establish a corporate oligarchy where only they have a say on all affairs.

not long after inception. Everyone who invests in the stock market is on the take from corporations. That was and is their plan. Can you say "sucker". The American population are nothing but dupes. Too greedy to see or willing to admit. The above poster is correct. Don't like the government? Look towards yourself and your fellow Americans to blame.

it would appear to be so-- since after all, corporations are "where the jobs come from".. particularly
given local, state governments have significantly reduced the number of people they "need"

Coca Cola. McDonalds (which kid doesn't know either of their trademarks?). Now, every brand is assaulting the minds of the big and small.

Not too long ago, one parent or the other, or a nanny, knew how to make a meal out of raw vegetables and some sortof meat.

Today, according to a study (I'm too lazy to find it), most kids can't even identify a fruit or vegetable in its natural state. They're all either manufactured into "shapes," packaged into plastic cups with a plastic lid, or stuck, cut up in uniform pieces into a microwavable "dinner" filled with all kinds of chemicals, nuked in a plastic box, plate or platter filled with even more chemicals that leech into the "food."

Some of these chemicals have been shown to interact with DNA, causing abnormalities in development, one notable effect being dysplasia in genitalia. Which enraged the fascist pig, Rush, who lamented his tiny organ by blaming his, an today's kids', on feminazis.

It really is epidemic.

Due to my upbringing, I never thought about shrinking "bad parts," or bad parts in any way except for how I desired to see, maybe even touch them, and certainly never blamed anyone for the sex organs they were given by god, who, by the way, was never the asshole he is today. In fact, what I learned in church is NOTHING like the Christers of today. Quite the opposite.
