(2,872 posts)But I can't go as far as to say "worst person in the world". That can be saved for the current clown car of republicans. Now I won't vote for her. If she gets nominated, this account will fall into disuse. But I'd save the outright hyperbolic attacks-- she's not the worst. She's just a really, really bad choice.

(24,411 posts)It's not hyperbole.
I'd never vote for any of the Republicans. They are dysfunctional (at best) and dangerous (at worst).
But you know what? None of them cheated. None of them came into our state, as guests--and decided that it was ok to cheat in a caucus.
What does that say about Hillary Clinton?
What is this doing to our party?
Instead of being sooooooo offended by my words, why don't you take a look at what she did.
Maybe if it happened in your state, to your process--and to your friends and relatives--you might look at it differently.

(24,411 posts)And what do you want to bet that all of this is used to denigrate and criticize our process?
I can't stand her.
I think I'm entitled to a few emotions and a few emotional statements.
I really don't want the admiration of anyone. When I posted about Iowa, it was about helping others understand what was really happening in Iowa. I am glad that so many appreciated it. However, I am doing now what I have always done--speaking from the heart and telling it like it is.
Yes, maybe she's not the worst human on the planet. But I am entitled to say whatever I want about her because of what she did in my backyard. Do you know the phone calls I'm getting from friends across the state in other precincts.
Wait until she comes to your state and causes chaos.

(9,497 posts)We have followed your steps all along the way and if you say what happened was out of order, I believe it. I didn't really think it was that widespread, but it sounds pretty bad.
Big cyber hug to you and your fellow Iowans.

(9,463 posts)...fighting so hard. Thank you.
I will be telling everyone I know and then some about Hillary Clinton.

(24,411 posts)You watch your entire process turned into a tornado of chaos. A joke. All because one person decided to cheat.
You are so offended by me venting some emotions. Do you have the same outrage for HER actions????
To me, at this moment---she is "the worst human on the planet."
No one else but Hillary came into my state and caused such destruction.
I tell you what. You work harder than hell to help Bernie win. You walk miles canvassing until your feet hurt. You make phone calls and try to do all of the right things to win fair and square. And you host people in your home--and watch them return to your home at 10:00 at night and fall into bed exhausted from canvassing. You watch people in your state working so hard and playing by the rules--and trying to win fair and square.
Then, you watch the other candidate come into your state and create untold, unprecedented destruction that hurts your party, your state, and the voters who were cheated.
You'd have some emotions too!

(24,411 posts)The outcome is not important, in my opinion.
If Bernie had won, I would have the same opinion.
It's not about the final outcome, for me.
It's the cheating that she engaged in. It's the widespread, intentional cheating.
It's sick, sick, sick.
How can you even be proud of this win? It's a joke.

(9,314 posts)If this is how she conducts herself in a simple caucus election, how do you think she will conduct herself should she be sitting in the Oval House. You are correct. We have to win this nomination and stop her.
I am so sorry you had to experience all these dirty tricks after the hard work you put into this effort. It is not fair to the Sanders' campaign, its wonderful team of volunteers or the people who support him. Evidently, "fair" is not a consideration in this election.
Write a piece about your experiences last night, it will be very therapeutic for you. Keep it visible throughout the election so others will know what they are dealing with when their primaries occur. We have to try to win by big margins to overcome the "win at all costs" mentality.
I am so sorry, CoffeeCat.

(45,120 posts)people like Andy McGuire doing the wrong thing when you have worked so hard to get people out there to caucus. Iowans and you especially did a remarkable job. No one can take that away and this will make Bernie's wins all the better

(35,015 posts)I'm going to give you a pass on the "worst human on the planet" comment because at this moment, that's what she is to you. I'd like to thank you again for all of your hard work and dedication, and I'd like to reiterate what another DUer said in this thread - even with all of her money, infrastructure and dirty tricks, she didn't get what she wanted - to neutralize Bernie.
I feel great this morning and I'm excited to see where things go from here. Hillary is no longer inevitable and as she scrambles to redefine herself yet again, nothing she can do will be enough to stop Bernie's momentum.
