Simply freeze everything in place. No "reform" (reaction to a bygone liberal era), no "cooperation" (conspiracy between the Right and the Far Right to destroy what's left of America), no "humanitarian interventions" (Neocon regime changes and optional wars of endless duration).

No Hillary. No Clown Car. None of the above.

So unless Clinton promises to execute the GOP platform (like Bill did with DOMA, DADT, NAFTA, you name it) I don't see a lot of compromising happening.

Because he's been such a great leader in the Party up to this point, recruiting and helping to elect Senators and Representatives who will vote with the Democratic caucus.

Clue: Bernie the Gadfly has not really been known for that. Ever.

If the Dems don't have a majority in the House and Senate, we are left with the same situation President has been in all along. Obama is a negotiator (see: Iran and ACA). Hillary is also a negotiator (see: Iran). Yelling at people and lecturing them does not work. Patient long term negotiation can achieve quite a lot.

Bernie shouts and lectures. Will that really work with a GOP majority Congress? Just tell me how. Just tell me the Big Plan to change those numbers. Is he raising money for candidates beside himself? Or is he waiting for candidates to pass the purity test, no others need apply. Or is he not focused on that issue at all?

They are, in fact, campaigning for a Republican Congress and reduced Democratic turnout.

They talk as if Congress *can't* be returned to Democratic control, and if that is what they believe, then it leads me to believe that that is what they want. And, honestly, what could a Democratic Congress give a President Clinton that she wouldn't have an easier time getting through a Republican Congress?

That woman would have been a complete disaster in 2008 and she would be a complete disaster in 2016.

48. BERNIE Voted in favor of the CFMA ... that caused the 2008 World Banking Collapse ..
Sat Jan 30, 2016, 09:14 PM
Jan 2016

That's right folks Good old Bernie Sanders voted for the 1999 CFMA bill that caused the 2008 world banking collapse. He voted for the CFMA which had Phil Gramm's amendment that banned the govt. from regulating the derivative market. The derivative market caused the 2008 world banking collapse. It bankrupted 30 countries and put another 30 countries on the brink.

Where was Bernie's judgment on that one?

Instead Bernie is trying to distract everyone about Clinton believing the Bush admin lying to congress and the American people about WMDs in Iraq. Looks like a very weak argument in comparison.

Sanders voted with the gun lobby multiple times.

Voted with the banks on legislation that crashed the world banking system.
