Change we need occurs when we have a Democratic/Liberal majority in the Congress

Along with a Democratic/Liberal President.

How is this even debatable?

The real question is how do we get a left of center House, Senate, and Presidency.... and keep it?

I tend to agree with Sanders in this... mobilizing voters and hewing to policy stances that favor voters.

How is that even debatable?

Can it happen because of one person? No.

Can it happen in one election cycle? No.

Is Clinton or Sanders going to be able to pass much with a Republican House or Senate? Not really. Probably not anything without a lot of bad strings attached.

In the long run, what's better for the Left? Sticking to rock solid liberal principles or sticking a wet finger in the air every two years while slowly losing any trust that the American people feel you are on their side?

The political science definition of 'Conservative' is "Satisfied with the status quo".

Conservative is right wing and anti-progress.

What direction will the President take the Party is what's at stake here.

We need for Bernie to lead the Democratic Party with HIS vision. We need Bernie to appoint a Democratic Party Chair that will recruit and fund actual progressives instead of "pro-business" neo-liberal Democrats that favor Big Business and Wall Street's interests over average American interests.

That's what's at stake here. Where will the Democratic Party be AFTER a Bernie or Hillary Presidency. I strongly believe the Democratic Party would be much stronger and much better for average Americans after a Bernie Presidency. This is why I fight so passionately for him.
