He lived there for quite a while during the Olympics preparation, and there were reports he was considering running for Governor there. And as Rachel Maddow has discussed on her show, there is also evidence that he misled the people of MA about where he was filing his tax returns when he ran for office.

Joe Klein of TIME also refers to Utah as one of Romney's 5 home states.

1. Michigan

2. Massachusetts

3. New Hampshire (summer cottage)

4. California (mansion in La Jolla - only 100 miles away from Hollywood btw)

5. Utah

making the Kenyans eligible to vote in swing states as the Republicans' next attempt to claim voter fraud or at least to explain why Obama keeps being ahead in the polls.

But for legitimate reasons, unlike in Romney's case where he claims 5 home states.

Many politicians have more than one home state. Sometimes you are born in one state and grow up there, but move somewhere else as an adult and end up representing another region.

Hawaii certainly considers itself one of Obama's home states. It gave him his largest margin of victory in 2008 of anywhere except D.C.. 72% of the vote.

So it was before the recent '47%' controversy and is a week old.

Obama could be up higher since then.

One was born in Mexico and one was born in Panama. I think the one born in Mexico was a Romney. Wait, that guy was Mitt's father? So why's he making remarks about the site of Obama's birth?
