/rant I'd rather not rely on people that need to find and twist obscure bible quotes in order to justify doing the right thing, whilst willfully ignoring the blatant contradictory ones and the ones that expressly forbid the thing they're trying to justify.

There is no need to justify doing the right thing. It is for those who want to do the wrong thing to justify their positions. /endrant
