Christmas tree for Christians only?

Any one know if this is real?

I can't find where it originated.

1. It wouldn't surprise me.

Kind of stupid though, makes an evil atheist like me want to lie in order to purchase one and then defile it in front of them.

6. Not to mention the actual bible passage that admonishes against...

decorating trees the way the heathens do.

http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Jeremiah+10%3A2-4&version=KJV

Of course, the OT doesn't apply. Except where it does.

3. Atheist Trees are only $12.50.

That's on a different sign.

4. What kind of ornaments do you use to decorate yours?

I put sparkly stuff on my birth control pills and string them around the tree like popcorn.

13. Priceless.

I won't have time to include that in my Klingon Holiday cards but it's a definite contender for 2013!

7. It is clear that, this invented war on Christmas is stupid.

Some folks are feeling mighty insecure. My atheist friends don't think about ruining holidays for religious people at all. Most find that Christmas trees are inoffensive, no reason to sweat the small stuff, and they are really quite secular these days. I like the way they smell! Only the hard core folks cart out the nativity in my neighborhood, anyway.

9. Farmers down the road put a large lighted blue star on top of their grain silo.

It's quite beautiful, you'd never notice it in town but out here it's pitch dark.

I've seen my horses gazing at it, I wonder what they're thinking.

10. The horses are probably thinking...

"I hope these idiot humans aren't going to try and put us in one of those live Nativity scenes.."

"We're probably safe. Fictional Baby Jesus had a big ass and ox in the barn, but no horses as far as I know."

"Well, if they do, somebody's getting a big lump of something that ain't gold, frankincense or myrrh. And not in a stocking either, but right in their frigging lap."

11. LOL!

That is exactly what Stella, my frighteningly intelligent teenage diva problem child, is probably thinking.

Jack, the Belgian cross with food issues is probably wondering if it's edible.

19. Yeah, exactly how...

a majority in the position of power can be the subject of persecution is beyond me... That's like saying government policies in 1940 Germany were against Aryans...

I really don't care about Christmas stuff. I still say "Merry Christmas" to people, even my atheist roommate and my Jewish friends.

18. Where I used to live small MO town

of about 400 pop and was made up of almost all Catholics. They were however very laid back and the local bar was the hang out for everyone. They served a good dinner there and families always came on weekends, celebrated baby showers, all kinds of things there.
Anyway, first year I lived near there they had this huge gold lite up star on their water tower, upon looking closer it had "Bud Lite" in the center! I loved it, kinda said what the town was about that they swung both ways, LOL! It was up every year that I lived there 9 yrs and I bet it is up right now.

20. I like when assholes advertise...

their assholery. It stops me from giving them my money. I would rather decent people profit.
