U Chicago study: Baby names indicate parent's political leanings.

http://political-science.uchicago.edu/faculty-workingpapers/Oliver-Wood-Bass.pdf
A study by a professor at the University of Chicago: You can tell a family’s political leanings by how they name their children. (A bit long)

http://www.livescience.com/37196-politics-baby-names.html
According to Live Science analysing this study, Conservative parents will tend to select baby names with hard consonants, which tend to sound more macho, such as K, B, or D. Conversely, Progressives tend to select names with more “feminine-sounding” soft consonants such as (soft) C, S, M, or L.

I don't know any other way to explain the 4 Jasons and 3 Joshuas on my block back in the 80s.

Two kids with hard consonant and traditional names. Granted, both named after beloved relatives but I also happen to like the names.

Exception to every rule, I guess.

I swear each year the society gets a bit more stupid with tripe like this.

What's the point anyway, if true?
