ANOTHER miracle for Kate

This is taken from an email by "Nance" a local Pittsburgh healer. She and Kate and Brad are very close. Just when we thought Kate was in the clear, we now have this; and, another miracle. Rick

---

Hello dear family, We know that so many of you love Kate and have continued to pray for her healing. Last week a number of people emailed me concerned that something was wrong. I personally answered them. It is just now that I am taking a breath to inform all of you of what has been happening.

Before I begin I will give you a heads up that another miracle has occurred for Kate. I do want to share with you the journey in the past two weeks to illustrate some important lessons in these Times of our Times.

Kate began to feel ill and was very constipated. Nothing was helping and so two weeks ago today she went to the emergency room at Sewickley Valley Hospital. Scans revealed a kick in her bowel. She was hospitalized and all food and water were withdrawn for this usually unkinks the bowel. For four days Kate received only IV saline for hydration. Nothing changed. Her pain level was barely being controlled by morphine. Knowing something more was wrong--I thought it was scar tissue--Brad insisted more investigation be done. A week ago Friday Kate was taken into surgery so the surgeon could take a peek at what was what. Six hours later Kate emerged from surgery. Her bowel was not kinked it had been completely blocked.

For some reason the surgeon chose not to remove the blockage but to do a bi-pass around it. To make a long story shorter, Kate did not get better, she got worse. Liquid nutrition was being given through her port but her bowels were not working. Her pain increased requiring ever increasing amounts of morphine, she got a fever and was very very ill. As each day went by she got worse. They treated the infection with antibiotics. By Monday it was clear to everyone that Kate's healing may be in the spirit world.

Kate is not afraid to cross over. But she felt strongly that all hope was not lost.

On Monday Kate expressed that she thought her only hope of surviving was to get back to Cancer Treatment Centers in Tulsa. We all agreed and Brad went to work on arranging a medical transport. For three days he tirelessly went through the obstacles to arrange this for Kate.

One of the doctor's at Sewickley Valley agreed to release her for transport to Tulsa. Another doctor told Kate on Tuesday night that she was dying. We all knew that but none of us, particularly Kate, felt there was no hope left. She told the doctor that and he told her there was no hope. There was nothing that could be done and that she was dying. He told her there was no other path. This made Kate angry. She was not in denial of her condition but she felt, as did we, that hope was still there if we could get her to Tulsa.

On Thursday afternoon Kate, with Brad by her side, was medically transported by jet to Tulsa. She and Brad were welcomed with open arms and given hope. I dare say that perhaps there were no two happier people in the world than Brad and Kate on Thursday when she arrived CTCA. Except for me. Frank who had been tirelessly energetically working on getting Kate to Tulsa was typical of Frank, he was pleased. He expected it to be so and went back to work on transmitting healing.

Kate was put into ICU; stabilizied as much as possible from the rigors of the trip and the life threatening condition. They discovered almost immediately that the infection Kate had was a staph infection and immediately began appropriate treatment.

Her whole team of doctors, nurses, and alternative medicine reaction were at hand and making plans to save Kate's life. On Friday she had acupuncture, was gotten up to walk a bit, and she was given jello by mouth---the first food she had in almost two weeks. Her bowels still didn't function. It was eight days after surgery. No one suggested that this was not going to change. Saturday she had acupuncture and a milk and molasses enema to stimulate her bowel. She had a whole team of people pulling for her and expressing their love for her constantly. That same team wrapped their arms around Brad and took care of him, as well. The love and persistence to care for Kate and to not give up on her was perhaps the best medicine she received in Tulsa.

Saturday night her bowels began to function. Today they are fully up and running. Kate walked more today. She is eating jello, broth and juice. She is eagerly anticipating some noodles when they are added to her diet. And then lasagna and pizza. Her fever is gone. She is still very weak but making a recovery. We all expect she will be there for quite a while to fully recover. Her doctors feel she is already on her way.

The motto at CTCA is "We never give up." Certainly many do cross over from cancer, illness, complications to surgery. But they leave no stone unturned in convention and alternative medicine to place a person on the path of physical healing even if that is improbable.

Please continue to pray for Kate and for Brad. As you can imagine Brad has been through his own kind of hell with all of this. He is now also in good hands in Tulsa. There, patient and family are cared for equally with great love and compassion.

I told Kate this afternoon that I was sending this to you all tonight. She knows your prayers made a difference for her. She wants you to know how deeply touched she is that so many people love her and are praying for her to be on her highest path whatever that may be. She is very happy that she is not going to the spirit world just yet. She is grateful to all of you and to Spirit that a physical healing "miracle" has occurred once again in her life.

the first hospital they had used everything in their toolbox. The Tulsa hospital had more tools.
