(33,982 posts)Even in Europe, it's likely that better than half of the victims of any such attack will be personally members of some varieties of religion.
Can you elaborate on the angle you perceive? I looked above and below, and I don't think I'm alone in not understanding the intent or value you appreciated and forwarded.

(33,982 posts)Posting for this material for that reason is commonly, especially among non-theists, suggestion of a specific subtext or reason. 'These three are Mormon and?'.
I would not pass over it as a random data point, without apprehension of a purpose.
If three of the victims all owned cockatoos, would it then be relevant to the Pets group? What, then, would be the relevance? A large percentage of people will seek the relevance, and assume there was some material intent.

(19,705 posts)Unless they were specifically targeted, why do they receive such attention over the scores of other victims?

(14,083 posts)Whenever I hear that Americans were hurt in an overseas disaster, I wonder what they were doing. IIRC the Paris mission is where Mitt Romney did his missionary work. I considered that a kind of plum assignment for him. I guess it didn't turn out so well for these people.
I hope they all fully recover from their injuries.
