For those who can't get enough: The Jeremy Lin Story

San Francisco Chronicle / 2-23-12

Before he was the subject of back-to-back Sports Illustrated cover stories, a "Saturday Night Live" sketch and a worldwide craze, Jeremy Lin was the subject of good-natured ridicule from his high-school buddies.

The Palo Alto (San Francisco Bay Area) native has been in quite a rhythm since he was inserted into the New York Knicks starting lineup, but have you ever seen this guy move when playing "Dance Central" on Xbox?

"It's pretty funny to watch Jeremy dance and make a fool of himself," said Kevin Trimble, Lin's former teammate at Palo Alto High. "He's maybe not the world's best dancer."

Yes, Lin is actually capable of missteps. It's a fact that's often been obscured as the Harvard-educated, God-praising point guard has done everything but leap the Trump Tower since being scraped off the end of the Knicks' bench less than three weeks ago.

That's why Sports Illustrated publishes the swimsuit edition.

Lin is perfect fodder to fill the news void. When Spring Training heats up and March Madness starts he'll be kicked off the front page.
