decades before Pharoah. He ran the other two races like his daddy (Secretariat, for those of you just joining us ).

And he did have a horrible trip in the Derby. He was pushed out at least 7 wide on the turn and made up a helluva a lot of ground to finish, 3rd I believe. Winning Colors got a good trip and etched her name in the history books that day.

It is so fitting that Risen Star has a Derby Prep race named after himself in New Orleans. That city loved him.
