They passed the Belicheat rule!

UPDATE: In a move that will make Baltimore fans happy, NFL owners passed Wednesday the rule proposal making the practice of players declaring themselves ineligible and then lining up in the slot illegal. Players reporting ineligible must line up in the tackle box. The Patriots used that tactic to much success in a divisional playoff win over the Ravens this past January.

One team in particular was happy to see the change.

It would be a penalty. Before the rule...not a penalty.

Lots of sour grapes with this one.

It obviously wasn't against the rules before. So, how is it cheating to do something that isn't against the rules?

I thought only die-hard Ravens fans were still calling this cheating. Then again, El Supremo might be a Ravens fan, although I think that's the only avatar he's yet to use.

12. It was more than deceptive. It was a last second sneaky trick.

On one play, running back Shane Vereen didn't alert the officials to his ineligibility until just before the snap.

Typical of Belicheat's cheating at every thing he can get away with.

And like I asked earlier, I wonder how many other rules will the Cheatriots cause to be made?

Victories.

Hey, you have to blame the Vikings for that!! And I don't think even El Supremo will try and undermine the two Super Bowl Championship with Roger Staubach and Tom Landry!!
