Browns to start 19th quarterback since 1999

Last edited Wed Sep 18, 2013, 01:17 PM - Edit history (1)

Brian Hoyer, formerly with Arizona, fills-in for injured Brandon Weeden. Jason Campbell is the back up. I bet Campbell will be starter #20 before long.

The infamous 19:

Tim Couch
Ty Detmer
Doug Pederson
Spergon Wynn
Kelly Holcomb
Jeff Garcia
Luke McCown
Trent Dilfer
Charlie Frye
Derek Anderson
Brady Quinn
Ken Dorsey
Bruce Gradkowski
Jake Delhomme
Colt McCoy
Seneca Wallace
Thad Lewis
Brandon Weeden
Brian Hoyer

Edit: Spelling (it's not Brain, but Brian, though secretly I wish it was Brain)

I think his record as a starter there was 11-7.

2001 - Jay Fiedler
2002 - Fiedler & Ray Lucas
2003 - Fiedler & Brian Griese
2004 - Fiedler, AJ Feeley & Sage Rosenfels
2005 - Gus Frerotte & Sage Rosenfels
2006 - DISASTER YEAR - Joey Harrington, Daunte Culpepper & Cleo Lemon
2007 - Cleo Lemon, Trent Green and John Beck (WTF?)
2008 - Chad Pennington
2009 - Chad Henne & Pennington
2010 - Chad Henne, Pennington & Tyler Thigpen
2011 - Matt Moore & Chad Henne
2012-Present - Ryan Tannehill
