Last year our Democrats had to flee to Illinois to stave off this abomination. The judgment seems to be that doing so in an election year would be political suicide. Too many Hoosiers bought into idiotic arguments that the legislators were shirking their responsibilities ("if I don't show up for my job I don't get paid, and neither should they&quot .
