49ers/Seahawks moved to prime-time on Dec. 23..

The Week 16 San Francisco 49ers-Seattle Seahawks game on Sunday, December 23 will be played at 8:20 PM ET on NBC’s Sunday Night Football, the NFL announced today. The game was originally scheduled for 1:25 p.m.

The San Diego Chargers-New York Jets game, originally scheduled for Sunday night, will move to 1:00 PM ET on CBS and the New York Giants-Baltimore Ravens game will move to 4:25 PM ET on FOX.

The 49ers are still 1 1/2 up on Seattle, but with a visit to NE coming up while the Seahawks play Buffalo, it means this game could very well end up being for the division.

The 49ers have already played 4 prime time games...before Harbaugh showed up, they were never on anymore..

Seattle isn't an easy place to play. Seahawks are undefeated there. The 49ers could have avoided any of this potential drama if they had just won one of the Rams games...

Actually, the Giants-Ravens game has the potential to be season ending for one, playoff seeding for the other.

Either way, FOX is televising both games -- Giants / Ravens is the aftrenoon double-header.

NBC televises the Chargers / Jets at 1:00 PM EST. That means Bob Costas doesn't get a primetime audience. Poor little guy ...

They changed it to CBS as you say and listed NBC as doing the 49ers / Seahawks. That can mean only one thing ...

AdvancedNFLStats calculated that they had about a 12% chance of making the playoffs when other 3-6 teams had about 1%-3% chance. The reason, according to them, was the remaining schedule. That and Indianapolis & Pittsburgh were not strong teams (at-the-time when the calculations were made)

I think it would be great if Indy got to play the Broncos in the first round!
