The reason why they're favorites there is Brian Burke weighs most heavily net/ypa followed by defensive net/ypa. Both teams don't have an impressive pass D but Cam Newton is the league leader in ypa. It is funny listening to the announcers talk about the long odds against them when they, mathematically (rather than Vegas odds which can be affected by perception), they had a 62% chance of winning.  |

The score is shocking mainly because Arizona has one of the best defenses in the league, but they also have the worst offense in the league going up against one of the best defenses. 4 interceptions, 4 fumbles lost  |
