With your mask on your face,
And your hands by your side,
As you live this lie,
A mask to hide the pain,
A mask to hide the true you,
Foolish souls who try to fit the image
Society has made,
Fake smiles to hide the tears,
Fake brave face to hide the fear,
Indifference to hide the anger,
Chains that keep souls down,
Broken wings so we cannot soar,
As we walk down this dreary road.
