Justice League To Begin Shooting In April
Seemingly putting to rest worries that Warner Bros. may lack confidence in its DC Films plan, Entertainment Weekly reports Justice League Part One will begin filming April 11th in the United Kingdom.
In the last few weeks, online commentators suggested the studio may be unsure of director Zack Snyder following early screenings of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. According to these reports, the studio was considering delaying Justice League in favor of a Ben Affleck-fronted Batman solo film to establish a new tone for the DC Films initiative.
Though not commenting on the online uproar, Snyder told EW, It was a little bit of an about time moment, and I dont blame [the studio] for feeling that way, because its a long time coming.
Warner Bros. has been interested in a Justice League project for some time. It nearly happened under the direction of Mad Max filmmaker George Miller in 2007. Justice League: Mortal wouldve seen Armie Hammer introduced as Batman, Common as Green Lantern, and Mad Max: Fury Roads Megan Gale as Wonder Woman among a few other characters.

This is good news; I'd started to believe the rumor mill rumblings about the JL film getting delayed or axed. I'm WAY too much a DC Fanboy to be able to cope with that. . .
