RIP Sugar Foot. 2016 has been awful for losing talented people
EDIT- I apologize for passing on an item that came through my FB feed. A friend posted a RIP message - I googled Ohio players singer dies, saw some articles but did not notice the date.
Mr Bonner passed 3 years ago.
I feel like shit about it, but I'll leave it up as a reminder to always check before posting.

(6,409 posts)I tried to avoid listening to music during the time of disco, but you have to sit up and take notice when those horns pump it out.

RIP to Dan Hicks, as well - a true musical legend.

(8,709 posts)to hear the straight up funk of the Ohio Players.
My first concert ever was called The Extravaganza at the Capitol Center in D.C., featuring the Ohio Players, Bar-Kays, KC and the Sunshine Band, and I forget the other group. Those were the days of pure funk with a little disco thrown in.
Thanks for the memories!
