The NRA is a single-issue organization. Of the two major candidates, Trump better supports their one issue.

We could appeal to the NRA's sense of morality, couldn't we?

We could try to convince the NRA that providing material support for a racist, xenophobic, misogynistic pervert is morally wrong.

Do you feel that the NRA is totally immune from moral appeals?

If so, why?

for the gun control organizations to un-endorse their Republican candidates and instead endorse the pro-gun control Democrats running against them?

The NRA has endorsed Trump- no one on DU has supported that endorsement.

Certain gun control groups have endorsed Republicans or actively campaigned against incumbent Democrats- both actions have been enthusiastically supported by some pro-gun control DUers. No pro-gun control supporter have dared to speak against either action.

Let's stay on the topic of the deplorables who are attempting to force a Trump Presidency on this country, shall we?

I'm not much interested in your personality clashes with other posters.

The NRA's continued support for Trump is deplorable.

about an electoral issue?

My advocating for Democrats and speaking against those who would support Republicans is a "personality clash"? Perhaps you are unfamiliar with DU's terms of service. This is the first sentence of core principles:

Democratic Underground is an online community for friendly, politically liberal people who understand the importance of working together to elect more Democrats and fewer Republicans to all levels of American government.

Supporting Democrats is DU's raison d'être, not gun control.

I am concerned about those who only worry about the presidential election and what the NRA has to say while ignoring the rest of the ticket.

We need the White House but leaving Congress in the hands of Republicans because some of them support gun control would be deplorable.

Don't you agree?

SS: The NRA's continued support for Trump is deplorable.

Aw come on SS, let's give credit to things they have in common.
They're both anal retentive.
Ted Nugent & Trump both bizarreries.

Quick, which presidential candidate & two of his stooges does this remind you of?
do not read further till you choose!:

Now now, I suspect most of you chose, as I did, Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani, & Chris Christie.
But we are WRONG, we mustn't rush to judgement. We must play fair.
Because this is a picture of 3 healthy baboons.
It's not a picture of 3 sick pigs.
