Mia the kitty brightens up care home

A new cat is proving highly popular as a therapy animal in a care home in Michigan.

From the article:

Nine months ago they adopted a kitten called Mia from the Kalamazoo SPCA. She has they say changed the atmosphere at the facility. “Mia’s days are spent riding along on the backs of wheelchairs, walking along parallel bars as patients do physical."

I met so many lonely people in a nursing home that would just love to have a visit. I'm glad they are opening up to new ideas. There are lots of homeless kitties who need a home and hoomans who needs some cat attention.
