Fur Nephew update (with pics)

Back in September I posted about Samson, the Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy that joined my brother's family. This was him in late September.

He is now almost 6 months old, 55 lbs. He has a very sweet temperament and absolutely adores my niece and nephew.

He is especially focused on my 4 year old nephew. These pics were taken a few weeks ago when my nephew fell asleep during a car ride home. My brother just carried him inside and placed him on the sofa...and Samson soon joined him. My brother said they slept like this for about 45 minutes

that breed of dogs. All the ones I've known have always been so gentle and sweet too.
These are adorable pictures of your niece and nephew and of course Samson!

They grow up so darn fast. Gorgeous doggie.

I love the photos of the 4 year old and the doggie snoozing on the couch together. So adorable.

one of life's priceless gems. I had a German short haired pointer that I recued from the pound as a puppy and all the years till she passed we would lay on the carpet together side by side and cat nap. Suzie was wonderful dog. I sure do miss her and Molly, Pete, Ditto, Logan, Rowdy....... The past few of my 59 years is the only time since being born that I have been without a dog or in my life. What is that saying? "They say that dogs don't go to heaven. When I die I want to go where they are."

My last dog crossed the bridge in June 2012 and I've been dogless since then too, for the first time in many years.

'kids' are going to have a very happy life together.

My brother previously had 2 dogs - one passed in 2006, the other in 2011. So my niece only knew adult dogs and my nephew had 2 years with a very senior dog. So this is their first experience with a puppy who wants to snuggle and play. All three are having a great time together
