With mushrooms, onions and garlic. Not sure if I want to go 'naked' or make a quickie marinara for it. I'll have to stop by the grocery on the way home from work to pick up some fresh baked rolls. The rolls make all the difference, when you can find good ones.

One of the few things I make for family meal that I don't cringe when the Latinos wantonly slather habanero avocado salsa verde all over.

I think the worst was the chicken francaise.

One of them will literally take a raw jalapeño, bite the end off and proceed to dip it in lime juice and salt, taking chomps out of it between mouthfuls of food. Any food, be it chicken mole or fettuccine Alfredo, I've seen both.

Would these be portobellos? ... real crab or surimi?

I still haven't figured out what we're having here.

the plan was to have nachos, so i picked up avocado and salsa on the way home. as my husband is putting away the groceries, he points out that i forgot one very crucial ingredient....the chips

the mac and cheese is what i had, so that's what i went with. i added some cream cheese, green chilies and jalapenos and it wasn't awful.

i found some coconut macaroons in the bakery markdown and i ate more than i should have. i am a sucker for those things.
