Strong ladies to stand up for the cause like they did and they were put in an asylum and force fed. When the truth came out about the abuses, that is when allowing women to vote became a reality.

right to vote (that, and "shoulder to shoulder"-- a pbs series on the effort in england, should, in my opinion, be required in history and civics classes)
really can't imagine that happening to myself to prove one of my causes, we have come a way, but not a long way....
