CONCORD, N.H.A House bill aimed at cutting off taxpayer funding to hospitals, clinics, doctors and others who perform elective abortions could put New Hampshire's $1.4 billion annual Medicaid program in jeopardy.
¬snip¬
In the last few weeks, the headlines have been about O'Brien's call to grant employers the right to refuse to pay for contraceptive coverage if they have a religious objection. The House will be voting on that bill this month as well as on a bill that gives anyone the power to refuse to provide or assist in any health care services, including abortions, without being liable to a lawsuit or discipline by employers.
But a bill the House passed in January could have much more far-reaching consequences because it could jeopardize New Hampshire's Medicaid program, which provides not only care for women seeking abortions but also wide-ranging services for the state's poor.
That bill would bar publicly funded contracts with organizations that provide elective abortions even if private money is used to pay for the service. The bill would bar contracts regardless of whether they are funded by state or federal money.

Halliburton could buy "the pill" for every lady on the planet with the money they steal from us.
Look at healthcare in Australia, NZ, Canada, etc.
Quality healthcare is the right of every human.
The repugs are distracting you from seeing the neocon takeover and return to war once the Democrats get the debt payed. Jeb and Carl will steal 2016 and we can't stop them with conventional means. We should be listening to their silence.
