Election shocker: Feiglin left out of Likud list

Moshe Feiglin, the firebrand MK who made waves in the previous election by receiving enough votes to receive a realistic slot on the Likud's list, found himself on the outside on January 1 – after making a run for the party's leadership less than a month ago.

The early primaries – pushed through by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu – led Feiglin to drop out of the race against the incumbent leader and Likud star Danny Danon. But the most surprising upset was his inability to gather enough support to receive a coveted spot on the faction's list.

His colleague, MK Tzipi Hotovely, will also likely be left out of the running, after placing in 26th at the party's primaries. The dramatic drop on the list for both Feiglin and Hotovely signals a new trend in the faction – the decline of the "Feiglinists" in the Likud, who in the last primaries set the tone and left Hotovely as the highest-placed woman and Feiglin in 15th place.

Something about the Likud comptroller by the name of Shai Galili ruling that Nentanyahu was out because of violation of party rules using resources that was not approved for his reelection campaign.

Unfortunately the Israeli courts overruled Galili and forced him to clear the way after a compromise of suspending the three members of his faction.

Op-ed: The run-up to Wednesday’s Likud primaries has seen a wave of sensational headlines. They’ve missed the real story

The curious tale of the Likud comptroller who last week banned Benjamin Netanyahu from competing to retain his leadership of the party must have had non-expert Israel-watchers worldwide scratching their heads.

...the election shocker for you oberliner would be what is left of Hatnuah.

Ref : http://www.haaretz.com/news/israel-election-2015/1.633490

Tzipi Livni's Hatnuah party is falling apart

Four of six of the party's ministers are quitting. Amram Mitzna announced he was not running for reelection on Wednesday. MK Meir Sheetrit is expected to do the same at a press conference he called for Thursday morning. MK David Tzur and MK Elazar Stern had already announced that they were quitting the party over the last few days.

So the only Hatnuah MKs on Labor's list will be Livni herself and Peretz.

"Buji" has sold himself out to someone who sold herself out to "Bibi".

What a choice .....Bibi or Buji .

As for Feiglin, we all know Bibi believes in retribution for disobedient underlings.

This is going to be a very interesting election. Do we continue to drift gradually off into the ditch, or do we take a firm grip on the wheel, floor it, and head for the collapsed bridge just up ahead? Hmmmm.

.....first she sells herself to the highest bidder just like Ehud Barak before her ...and when that does not work out ??

I remember that at one of Rabin's memorials at the square she told us ... " he was my PM too "
We believed her ... like bloody fools we believed her .

And now she has left Bibi and joined Buji we are supposed to believe her again !!!
