(58,724 posts)This is a lie that certain people like to repeat for some reason.
No such thing exists.

(42,641 posts)But Palestinians are not allowed to use them. Read more at the following links:
http://www.globalresearch.ca/this-road-is-for-jews-only-yes-there-is-apartheid-in-israel/5368468
and also:
http://visualizingpalestine.org/visuals/segregated-roads-west-bank
The above link references a color segregated road access system, where Jews get a different color plates than do Palestinians. If anyone can read this link and still deny that there are "Jewish only" roads the only answer is deliberate blindness.
and finally:

Note that the last link is from a Jewish site.

(58,724 posts)Look more closely at that Visualizing Palestine website.
It clearly indicates that there are separate roads for Israelis and for Palestinians.
Non-Jewish Israelis (including Arab Israelis) can use the Israeli roads.

(42,641 posts)Many of the restricted access roads are IN PALESTINE, NOT ISRAEL. That means that even in Palestine many roads are off limits, restricted to Jews only, roads. In Palestine, not Israel.

(58,724 posts)The restricted access roads in the West Bank indicated on that website are restricted to Israelis, regardless of whether or not they are Jewish. If you have the Israeli license plate, you can use the road. I am assuming you are aware that around two million Israelis are not Jewish.

(58,724 posts)There is no reason to make up a lie about "Jews only" roads when the fact that there are "Israeli only" roads is in itself worthy of criticism.
Why not just stick with the facts?

(42,641 posts)If you wish to deny what the links clearly show is true, you might consider posting information countering what is clear to (nearly) anyone who reads the links that I provided that there ARE "Jewish only" roads in Israel and Palestine. And given that Palestine is, for all intents and purposes, treated by the Israelis as their own property, my point is merely proven again.
I understand that Israeli apologists NEED to deny the truth, and I understand the desperation to try to counter the increasing number of stories that show Israeli apartheid. Like the small boy with his finger in the dam, trying to hold back the water.
Good luck in your attempt to rewrite history. Remember that the last link, to which you made no reference, IS FROM A JEWISH SITE.

(25,699 posts)You know, when I was living in Alaska, there was a bar that had a "No natives or Filipinos allowed" policy. Racist of course, but business owners can refuse service as they like. Mind you it wasn't a whites only bar! no sir! Mexicans and blacks could come in if they wanted and drink right up!
of course, the only ethnic groups in town were whites, Natives, and Filipinos.
But it wasn't a whites-only policy!
