Despite signs that inflation has started to recede, economists still expect higher interest rates to push the U.S. economy into a recession in the coming year, according to The Wall Street Journal’s latest quarterly survey

We should see a huge increase in government revenue this year. Part of the food increase is to help defray the 15 percent.

It will be some time before traditional economic indicators adapt to the 21st century's economy. The WSJ editorial board is really cheerleading for there to be a recession for political reasons, of course. Nevertheless, any indicator or opinion that predicts "the probability of a recession" despite low unemployment is nonsense.
