No, the evidence that debunked our "hypothesis" doesn't change anything.
"I have what you would call a theoretical basis. There is no room for biology in there for me."

Both questioned the researchers motives for debunking them.

Claimed science can't prove them wrong, yet had no basis in science for their "hypothesis".

one of the biggest travesties of the broader phenomenon is their having turned universities into churches, complete with heresy and dogma.

I particularly liked the eyeroll of the Norweigian sociologist early in the program, questioning the reasons for asking the question. This is university! Why are you asking questions!
