Vulcanian and strombolian activity continues from the summit crater.
The volcano continues to erupt near-continuous moderate-to-strong, sometimes ash-rich explosions at regular intervals of 4 to 7 per hour.

Ash plume heights varied between 14,700 ft-15,700 ft (4,500 m-4,800 m) altitude and extended in range between 15 to 40 kilometers to the west, northwest and southwest of the volcano.

Much of the ejected incandescent material is being ejected to a few hundreds meters above the crater, causing weak to moderate glowing avalanches towards Ceniza and Santa Teresa and Honda chutes.
