Title should read: "President of the National Assembly to request the initiation of an investigation into..." but there wasn't enough room so I shortened it. If Diosdado Cabello says this, I think it's pretty much a done deal.

It's hard to believe this is the way you are actually spending your life.

Of course only a fool would maintain Maduro must wear only a long face at every moment of that press conference, regardless of what is being discussed by the reporters. Opportunism of the clumsiest order. If you had any sense, you'd be ashamed of yourself.

You are responsible for this arson, I am holding you responsible, because you called for violence in the streets, you are responsible. I hold you responsible for any injuries and deaths in front of the entire country "

Caracas, Apr 16 (Prensa Latina) Venezuelan National Assembly president, Diosdado Cabello, asked the National Assembly today to start an investigation of defeated presidential candidate, Henrique Carriles and other opposition leaders for their responsibility in the acts of violence registered throughout the country.
...

In this regard, he said, in addition to Capriles, are: Lara state Gov. Henri Falcon, deputy Ismael García, the head of the opposition campaign headquarters, Armando Briquet, the former mayor of Chacao and coordinator of the opposition party People's Will, Leopoldo Lopez, and the mayor of Sucre, Carlos Ocariz.

He said that also included in the list of instigators for destabilization is the CNE rector of the opposition, Vicente Diaz, whom he accused of undermining the electoral body.

They believe they will burn this country, but here there will be no confrontation of the people against the people, because we're going directly after those responsible for inciting violence.

Is this is the same National Assembly that lost the popular vote yet still got 60+% of the seats in the worlds greatest democracy?

Sounds rather harsh, doesn't it?

Almost sounds like... fascism.
