It's an affectation that bores me.

This "phone" "camera" thing, while curious and even commendable as an effort, seems to be more a fashion and branding exercise than a true innovation.

to target the phone for theft!
Mine looks like crap, but it's loaded, works fine, and fast.
I don't want a fashion statement, I don't want bling, I want a freakin' phone.
And if I want to take pictures, I'll use a CAMERA, not a damn lousy phone!
Phones, whatever they are, simply do not have the controls that cameras have.
I guess if you just want to take simple snap shots, it's okay, but I'll take my DSLR over it any old time!
