I asked a question in GD about the new Go Google, about it being better then the Kindle Fire....

and I guess it's nothing like the Kindle Fire.....is that right. I'm so old school. I said, that lotsa friends of mine have the Kindle Fire and love it......I asked if the Google is better then the Fire.....and, well, I wasn't real happy with the results I received, because I'm soooooooooooooooo old school. Don't know a thing about iPad, iPhones, Kindle Fires or the new Google thing. HELP!!!

The "Go Google" you are referring to is a "cheer" in Vehl's original post on GD regarding Google making a high-tech product (the Nexus Q) in the US as opposed to making it in China.

The tablet product that Google introduced today that easily surpasses the Kindle Fire is the "Nexus 7" tablet. Vehl also replied to your post with the critical details about the Nexus 7. The Nexus 7 stands heads and shoulders over the Kindle Fire when it comes to display quality, speed, and function. With the Nexus 7 you aren't tied into the Amazon store for apps - you'll have a much, much larger selection of apps in the Google Play store. With the Nexus 7 you can still access the Amazon store but you aren't tied to it like you are with the Kindle Fire.

Here's a chart that has both the Google Nexus 7 and the Kindle Fire specs:
http://www.macobserver.com/tmo/article/spec_comparison_new_ipad_v._nexus_7_v._kindle_fire_v._surface/

The iPad isn't in the same league as it has a 9.7 inch display and costs way more (minimum of $300 more) than either the Nexus 7 or the Kindle Fire as they are 7 inch tablets.
