Anyone else having trouble with DU & Opera?
Everything appears to work: I can read, refresh and the like, but when I press the "Post my reply" button, I just get a permanent hourglass and my response never gets posted. Same with Jury duty: everything works except the final OK & Dismiss button. I can click it and the button depresses, but it never goes away.
Switching to IE works, even in the middle of jury duty.
This doesn't always happen, but it's been happening for several hours now.

(7,318 posts)Dolphin for the longest time. Both are working today. Usually nothing is clickable (just hangs) on DU using those browsers. Could get to the homepage only and then only to view it-nothing else. Chrome is the only one that consistently has been working for me on DU. They all work on every other site. Only problems with them have been on this site.
ETA Am posting this using Opera. Did notice that when using Dolphin I didn't see Ads for awhile on any site. Sadly that is no longer occuring.

(6,261 posts)Well, and discussionist too, of course.
I'm running v32.0, with adblock plus and ghostery. I don't know if that matters.

(834 posts)I'm using opera and tried to reply to you earlier. My phone simply refuses to interact with DU sometimes. I can click on various parts of a page but there is no result. This has been happening for several days.

(6,261 posts)and now it's back. Weird. Reboot and closing all tabs seem to have fixed it for now.

(38,311 posts)I haven't used Microsoft Windows for more than a decade now, much less Internet Explorer, but it seems the Titans are wrestling.
Linux and Google Chrome, and a couple of browsers I've set up as if I was a "visually impaired" are working best for me.
Sigh.
I've been an Opera guy since Windows 3.1 until I quit Microsoft at 98SE.
